Good bye Oliver :(

I learned today that a loved cat a home, Oliver, had to be put down. Oliver (who is pictured on the left) had been sick for the past few weeks. I knew that when I left the U.S. I would have to sacrifice things, like pets, but it is still hard knowing I will never see Oliver again. He always took care of Murphy (on the right) who is somewhat blind, mostly deaf, old and tiny. I guess she was looking for him after he died :(

The bible says we are supposed to take care of animals. Oliver was well taken care of. He lived a very good life. The bible doesn't say anything about animals going to heaven. I like to think when I die I will see everyone I love again, including animals. Good bye Oliver. I will always miss you and love you.
